The Crop protection products manufacturing site at Santa Monica, Goa, produces many of the Active Ingredients and formulations for India as well as global supply. Nestling on 200 acres of land, housing several manufacturing buildings and a twelve acre man-made lake, beautifully bordered by hundreds of trees, Santa Monica Works is a living testimony to nature and chemistry thriving in harmony.
In 1972, Santa Monica Works began in a small way manufacturing active ingredients for our quality plant protection agents. Today, it manufactures many important intermediates and active ingredients that go into the making of our high quality, safe and dependable plant protection agents.
The Crop Protection Products range comprises: - Insecticides for control of pests affecting food and cash crops. Fungicides against pest diseases. - Herbicides for weed control, particularly in food crops.

The new seeds processing plants established at three locations , in 2008, have created capabilities that were hereto not available in India. As the crop yield depends greatly on the germination stage and purity of the seeds, the processing plants ensure a quality that is equivalent to global standards in terms of purity & yield. At Ranebennur, A.P., the plant can handle around 4000 MT of Sunflower and other field crop seeds while the plant at Hyderabad handles Corn & other field crop seeds and has an exclusive corn drier that helps in enhancing the longevity of the seeds.
The plant at Bhima Koregaon, near Pune, brings the total vegetable seed processing to one central location facilitating efficient storage & inventory management. The technology deployed to undertake cleaning, sizing, seed calibration and color separation of all kind of vegetable seeds meets the most stringent requirements of progressive growers across India, APAC & other regions. |
